NordicTrack FreeStride Trainer FS9i Review
NordicTrack FreeStride Trainer FS9i
4.4
Summary
While not a traditional elliptical, we consider the FS9i one of the best ellipticals under $3000. This machine combines three-in-one – an elliptical, a stepper, and a treadmill. Features include a center drive, 400 pound weight capacity, adjustable stride length up to 38 inches, 26 resistance levels, and -10° – 10° incline levels. With all those adjustable settings you can change the way you workout and target the muscle groups you want.
Buyers should be aware that to use the FS9i you need an iFit membership, which costs about $100 per year, but is included for one year. You will access iFit through the 10″ smart HD touchscreen display with 38 workout programs.

Comments
The NordicTrack FreeStride Trainer FS9i was delivered to my home and did not work upon installation. I have made 10 inquiries to NordicTrack to resolve my issue. So far, I have learned that it will cost me $450 in re-stocking fees to return the non-functional system. Alternatively, I can have the system repaired. I am 3 weeks into waiting to schedule the repair. I do not recommend NordicTrack FreeStride Trainer FS9i because I have experienced this system as low Quality right from the start, and my experience with customer service demonstrates NordicTrack’s lack of attention to Quality through their polices around returns and their lack of dedication to resolving a repair issue that existed at delivery. If you are in the market for a higher-end elliptical system, I would recommend considering the NordicTrack competitor: Sole Fitness E95 Elliptical Machine. The NordicTrack FreeStride Trainer FS9i has proven to be a low Quality, over-priced system from a company with an unfair return policy.
